Biometric attendance system for gyms in Pakistan

ZKTeco face and fingerprint readers connected to gym software, so the door admits paid members, refuses lapsed ones and records every visit.

Biometric Attendance System for Gyms in Pakistan

Biometric machines are already common in Pakistani gyms. Most of them do one thing: record fingerprints. The problem every owner knows is what they do not do. They do not know who has paid, so members whose packages ended months ago keep walking in until someone remembers to delete them. A biometric attendance system built for a gym fixes that by connecting the machine to the software that sells your packages.

What a gym biometric setup includes

  • A face and fingerprint reader at the entrance. We recommend ZKTeco terminals, chosen by gym size.
  • A lock or barrier for the reader to open: a magnetic lock on a glass or wooden door, or a tripod turnstile on a busy entrance.
  • Gym software that keeps the reader's member list in step with packages, records each visit and shows every refusal with its reason.
  • A UPS, so load-shedding does not leave members locked in or out.

How it works day to day

  1. A new member buys a package at the desk. The software adds them to the reader within moments.
  2. They enrol a face or fingerprint once at the reader. If the branch has more readers of the same model, the fingerprint copies to the other doors.
  3. On every visit they scan and walk in. The visit appears in attendance with the time and the method used.
  4. When the package is cancelled or frozen, the member comes off the reader straight away. When it reaches its end date, an overnight pass removes them.
  5. When they renew, they go back on the reader, and their stored fingerprint goes back with them, so they do not enrol again.

Which reader for which gym

  • Small gym or personal training studio: ZKTeco SenseFace M2F-LR, or the fingerprint-only SenseFP M2. Room for about 500 faces and 1,000 fingerprints, with an optional backup battery.
  • A single door on a budget: ZKTeco SenseFace 2A, with about 1,500 faces and 3,000 fingerprints.
  • A busy entrance or an outdoor gate: ZKTeco SenseFace 3A, with about 6,000 faces and an IP65 rating.
  • Turnstile lanes at a large club: ZKTeco SpeedFace V5L.

Already own a ZKTeco machine? If its communication menu has a Cloud Server or ADMS setting, it can usually be connected as it is, so send us the model before you buy anything new. Built for how gyms here actually run

  • Internet that drops. The reader keeps admitting members already on it during an outage and uploads the visits when the connection returns. A cancellation made during an outage reaches it when it reconnects.
  • No static IP. ZKTeco readers dial out over HTTPS on port 443, so they work on ordinary broadband and most routers, with no port forwarding.
  • Load-shedding. Put the reader, the lock and the router on one UPS so they all come back together.
  • More than one branch. Each branch's readers hold only the members allowed in there, and members with a brand-wide package can use every branch.
  • Frozen packages. A frozen package never opens the door, and unfreezing it puts the member back on the reader.

What it replaces

  • The paper register at the desk.
  • Deleting lapsed members from the machine by hand.
  • Arguments at the counter about whether a package is still valid: the refusal shows the reason.
  • Guessing your rush hours: check-ins by hour show when the floor fills up.

Honest limits

  • A reader cannot stop a second person walking in behind the first. A turnstile reduces that; see how to stop gym membership sharing.
  • GYMTROX does not open doors remotely. The reader opens the lock or turnstile itself.
  • An offline reader cannot receive changes until it reconnects.

How a setup usually goes

  1. Tell us about the gym: number of doors, member count, whether you want a turnstile, and the reader model if you already own one.
  2. Get an itemised quote covering the reader, the lock or turnstile, cabling, UPS, installation and software.
  3. Installation and connection. The reader is mounted, wired to the lock or turnstile and connected to the software, then tested with a member who has a valid package and one whose package has expired.
  4. Members enrol over the first days. Each member enrols a face or fingerprint once at the reader, usually on their next visit, while the desk checks in anyone not yet enrolled.
  5. Staff learn the refusal screen. The desk sees why a member was refused and can renew the package on the spot.

Members notice the difference in the first week: no register to sign, no card to forget, and a renewal that works at the door as soon as it is paid.

Prices and quotes

Prices depend on your doors, member count and cable runs, so we quote every gym individually. Our biometric attendance machine price in Pakistan guide shows current retail ranges for machines and turnstiles, and the costs people forget.

Frequently asked questions

Which biometric attendance machine is best for a gym in Pakistan?

A ZKTeco face and fingerprint terminal with a Cloud Server or ADMS setting, so gym software can keep it in step with packages. The SenseFace 2A suits a single door, the SenseFace 3A a busy or outdoor entrance, and the SenseFace M2F-LR a small studio.

Can my existing fingerprint machine be connected to gym software?

Usually, if it is a ZKTeco machine whose communication menu has a Cloud Server or ADMS setting. Send us the model on WhatsApp and we will tell you before you buy anything new.

Does it work during load-shedding or when the internet is down?

On a UPS, yes. The reader stores its member list and keeps admitting everyone on it while the internet is down, then uploads the visits when the connection returns. Changes made during the outage reach it when it reconnects.

Will a member with an expired package still get in?

No, once the reader is connected. Cancelled and frozen packages are removed from the reader straight away, and packages that reach their end date are removed in an overnight pass.

Do you install in my city?

Message us on WhatsApp with your city, number of doors and member count, and we will confirm what we can install there and send an itemised quote.

Do I need a static IP for a biometric machine?

No. ZKTeco readers connect out over HTTPS on port 443, so ordinary broadband is enough, with no port forwarding and no fixed IP address.
